Learning Basket Project

Age 0-4 is the most important time in children's development. To invest in the next generation, ICA Japan is currently planning and fundraising to launch Learning Basket programs in Japan.

What is the Learning Basket?

The Learning Basket is a research-based, interactive parent education curriculum by K. Elise Packard, Ph.D. Over 8-11 weekly sessions, parents and caretakers of 0 to 4-year-old children build community and receive training and support on how to foster their children's development. Caregivers receive a Learning Basket with 18 learning objects and learn how to use them in diverse ways to facilitate different aspects of development through play.
